Revo 3 speed tranny

has anyone tried the 3 speed tranny on a revo yet. just want to know how you like it. im looking at this kit and i need to do my tranny anyways so why its out i might go 3 speed.

i had one in my revo and took it out and sold it...i personally thought it was worthless...it only really works nice when ur just bombing a straight away...if u just bash it wont really even ever kick into 3rd anyways. unless your gonna use your revo for drag..id say stick with the 2speed or if u race stay with ur center diff....i tryed everything too like making it shift quicker so it would shift at a reasonable rate of time but i discovered it hurt ur excelleration alot when you did that. if its at a decent price just go for it maybe youll have better luck and more fun with it than i did. but when i bought it it was about twice the cost of a reg 2 speed and if its at that id say its not worth the price.

yah i personally think thats a bit steep for what u get out of it.

if you want to go fast buy an on road. i cant see driving my revo on any track that it could get enough speed to get to third gear. i barely use second! at top speed the revo isnt very sure-footed!
