Has Anyone Ever Installed A Hot Bodies 46 On A Maxx Yet ? I Am In The Process Of Attempting The Task. I Have Used An Extended Chassis And Had To Modify The Engine Holes Alittle . The Engine Fits Pretty Well. For Spur Gear I Used A Metal Spur . Having To Remove The Little Metal Catches On It. Gear Mesh Is Beautiful. Finally Took It For A Spin And This Thing Has Ungodly Amounts Of Power. Appr Hp Of Eng Is 4-5. I Am Going To Install Metals Gears In Trans As Soon As I Get All Bugs Worked Out.

unless you get the steel HD cvd's traxxas or MIP make you are going to twist any plastic one you throw on it and if you want to switch to the newer cvd's you will also have to change out the axle carriers as the inner bearing are a different size then the older maxx's (pre 3.3)
