What Is The Best Electric Monster Truck??

well the only 2wd are stampedes and WK 2x4. as for 4wd there are e maxx, e savage and WK 4x4.

so does the pede. My buddy has the wk and he can't come close to doing what I can do. wk are wicked for wheely's though. Plus they are almost a 12th scale compared to the pede

e pede is the way to go u can jup them off any thing and only have to fix a few parts ive jumped mine out of my window and its 2 stories high and the only thing that happend is the spur gear stripped a little and 1 shock tower came off and thats it these little boogers will run and run for ever and have no problems and ifu get a brand new one xl5 then u might want to get new springs and possible a xl1 chasie cuz they r way stronger my friend bought an xl5 and ran intoa curb going like 10 mph and the chasie broke in half and it took my cuzins pede about 30 mph strate into a curb to break so i say go and get u a used pede its the best way to go

okay there is another person doing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the new emaxx is not cool because IT IS WATER PROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stop advertising it !!!!!!!!! i have been in the hobby for 14 years and never tossed aside the r/c truck when winter came and i lived in PA my whole short life of 26 years -untill 6 years ago ,but i live in OKC now and still play in the snow and you know what i don't have a emaxx ...every truck is water proof ..it is actually called a balloon around the RX , and shran wrap around the E.s.c. the motors don't need anything ....so if that is the only reason you are buying a new emaxx your a *****!!!!!!!!!! but it does have revo hubs, axles, and the new chassis layout , cool tires, and cost more than a old one does ...wait that isn't cool... but jst think you will have have to have atlest two batterys , a charge to charge two batts, (or you have a lot of down time) i have had two older emaxxas, and three stampedes both are great trucks....

your question is kinda lame too, there are more factors to the truck that "best" fits your needs?
1- are you driving in tall grass...maybe need a high clearance two wheel drive

2- driving in sand or mud? maybe a 4 wheel drive ??

3- on a budget?? maybe two wheel drive..would not have to buy extra battery charger to charge two batts...tires are cheaper.

4- just let us know what your needs are and we may be able to fit the truck around you.-arick

AS AN E-MAXX GURU, THE NEW E-MAXXES ARE NOT WATER PROOF!!! THEY ARE WATER RESISTANT (THE MOST WATER RESISTANT TRUCK OUT OF THE BOX) BUT IF YOU SUMMURGE THE NEW E-MAXX IN WATER, IT WILL MESS IT UP. I AM ON MY THIRD NEW E-MAXX:pullhair: -THEY ARE STILL GREAT THOUGH (WISH THEY WERE 2 SPEED).

I second that getting all hyped up about a fully waterproofed truck is'nt that great. I've got an older E-Maxx, so, balloon around the reciever, super glue for the servos, and a new EVX 2 that comes waterproofed. (There are some trucks where you can't just wrap the ESC up, lol)

I say go with the pede,The maxx are tuff but not to fast, I got my pede going 60+without a lipo and wheelies are nothing, I cant keep it on the ground enough so I made the whole front end aluminum.

get the xl5 pede out of all my trucks it the most fun i have a mamba 7700 in it for close to a year and and even stock you cant kill these things i have a built emaxx to but not as much fun as the pede

well depends on ur skill level,Is there an LHS near you?Go check it out and see what they carry,they could help you choose(assuming theyr not **** holes).it would also be easier b/c if u buy a truck that they carry it will be easier to get parts,You dont always wanna be buyin online.
