hi all i have a tmaxx with a sluggy motor.
tuning it to run good makes it hot and flameout.
i'm in the market for a bolt in replacement.
doesn't have to be trx, as long as it's reliable.
open for offers.
Brand new in the box 2.5 for 100?

in the meantime can anyone help me pick a motor that will be a good runner ?
i am new to nitro and know nothing about the trx2.5...3.3... os and ofna motors.

trx are ok. The 3.3 are hard to tune due to being so tight. ofna's are usually for 1/8th scale and will fit but needs a conversion on the maxx. os's are useually one heckofa engine. I run os in all my stuff with the exception of 1 ofna force .26 that's freakin insane.
with only a couple exceptione....a T-maxx will only take a engine that is .18 sized or smaller. the 3.3 is a .20 in a .18 crankcase. there are a couple companys that make bigblocks(.21 and up) that are a direct bolt in to the maxx...but are ******ed to try and control if you are new lol.
