due to the numerous amount of scams going on, a tracking number for all sale and trades will be NEEDED if you cant afford the xtra 68 cents then dont sell or trade here. im sick of all the scams happening on this board and it needs tostop. failure to supplie tracking number for sales/trades from now on will result in some sort of punishment. also i will now be into being a 3rd party trade. if it is wanted, i will accept both items in a trade and wiill not ship anything untill i recieve both items. yes it will make the shipping time longer and cost double for shipment to ship twice, but isnt it worth it when your trading a 200-2000 dollar truck. ill do this with sales too. (money willgo into rcjunkyard paypal and wont be realeased untill item is recieved.

I think if they dont post the tracking numer with-in 24 hrs of selling or trading a item they get banned (for ever)

im not sur eon punishment yet ill have to talk about it to the admin. but im getting sick of so many people coming to me about them maybe being scammed.

not that i dont want to help them i do and im sick of the scammers but noone should ahve to worry about selling or trading on this site and pretty soon its going to come down to the admin needing alot of information in order for you to join this site and i know that myself and most members here dont want that.

I disagree, tracking number or not, you can easly be ripped off, all some one has to do is ship and empty box with a plastic dump truck in it with a revo sticker on the side. Then they send you the number and you track it and see it is a big package being sent air mail. You loose your truck in a traid and get a plastic childs toy. The scammer spent $30 and got your truck.

People can only complain about they'r stupidity. The only way to do it is to document every thing.

Trust me, i doubt any of you have had to ship your revo inwitch you have $3000 and 3-4 years of your life invested into it to a guy traiding you a DH/AM bike thats worth the same, and his package doesn't show up for 3 months! I doubt anyone has had that big fo a problem, but because i documented everything i did fineally get my package:D

Trust no one, people with good feedback rip people off too, and even thow shortbus is a mod hear and aperently i am not anymore, i still wouldn't ship to him or RRR or eaven the junkman, trust no one but your self and pertect your self. It may sound harsh but its the only way to do it.

I'm all for it!! Since I work from home and monitor this board every 10-15 min, making sure it's up to speed. I believe in escrow or third party trade/sell, shipping. If you need volunteers, I got your guys backs Mods/Admins. I'm not one to believe in karma, but when you do wrong it will catch up to you sooner or later 7 fold.

well thats why im suggesting a 3rd party trade. then the person who has nothing to do with the trade can check and make sure all is there. or if its a must use the escrow. then you can check what you got before fund are realeased.

i indeed had a revo worth oer 2500 and sold it fora small 400 and then the guy told me it was not as stated and such which was wrong so to try to satisfy him sent him over 1000$ worth of mac tools. then later he files a chargeback and got his 400 back and when i stated to the credit crd company that he never sent my truck back or the tools they ignored me. so i was left with no truck, no tools, and no money.so i know first hand how it feels to be scammed. ive also had people atempt to scam me even on this site(teddypbu) but now its so hard for me to trust people i go through the whole shabang looking them up and will not shipfirst myself.

and im with savagenitrosmoker..i work in an office and have alot of free time and am on here non stopall day.

The tracking number is true, it will not gauruntee what you traded for. I'm still waiting on my 2 big block maxxes traded for my 2500 invested savage!

where are you all shipping out of that you have to request and pay extra for a tracking number?...
i ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) and just plain United Postal Service (UPS)
both of which give you a tracking number with your recipt when you ship out...
Is it FedEx that you have to ask for one and payfor it?
I'm honestly a little skeptical about trading here...
I've had plenty of smooth trades elsewhere, but never on here (havn't made any yet)

ALSO
please when leaving feedback state the thing that was bought and the price. as ive seen on ebay numerous times. sellerswill buy/sell cheap things to make there feedback look great. then they will sell a few expensive things in the 500-2000$ range and rip people off. so to make sure that doesn happen here make sur ewhen leaving feedback state what you bought and how much it was.

This has been in the rules of the Off Road section For a LONG time.post a picture of your item.Items sell more when they have pics.
anybody could say,"Upgraded to the maxx LST.all alluminum NOva Rossi Engine."and yet have no pics. Its smarter to buy with pics, and description.
And i agree Tracking Numbers arent so good.Meeting with the guy(if he lives locally)is a great way to trade/sale/buy.I've done that in of my two last deals and it went great.

I dont think there should be a punishment if a tracking number is not purchased...i get tracking numbers for most of my trades/sales.
Im just saying that i dont think thats a very good rule to have..

yes i agree to have to post/have pics to send when selling somthing unless it is impossible to get some.

To be honost..i wouldnt do a 3rd party trade with somone..that is just a lose in $$. I dont ship first anymore do to scammers..

"shortbusdrmoses-but im getting sick of so many people coming to me about them maybe being scammed."
Its NOT your problem.
Its only your problem if they are 100% sure they were scammed.

I might be able to be one of the 3rd party people every now and then but not all the time...

I love this site, i like the people here!

Rcjunkman and the rest of the staff are doing a great job of getting rid of most scammers and spam, which is GREAT. Keep up the good work guys.

And i thank you Rcjunkman for having made this incredible site

A price wouldn't hurt on whatever you are selling. I hate reading and trying to find offers. Just post a price.
