Well, with everyone wanting to trade, and point the finger at who ships first, how about the person that wants to make the trade/deal ships first, since they were inquireing about the other rc. Or, you can ship it C.O.D., where you have to sign for the package, and pay on the spot, then the money gets paid for the shipping. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Oh, and then changing the deal and shipping after everything is said and done....

i kinda like to go by, sent payment once you get a shipping number.
with trades, only one i did was ship at the same time.
believe it or not, it worked. even shipping to and from canada! lol
that's from TEXAS to CANADA mind you...

I just think that to some, feedback is a moral booster. Dont get me wrong it does help, but some people dont care, they'll get ya if they want to. Like Demonspawn for instance, for those who helped put him in jail:jumpy:

I guess it just depends on the person...
I know i wont send first anymore...been ripped before not happning again.
I know that you said feedback is neutral but i have alot of feedback and i think that it is very important...
I know i would never rip anybody off..im not the type of person.
To bad its so hard to trust people off the internet..if there was only some way to filter the scammers from the honost...

shipping at the same times doesn't work all the time either.I tried that one time and I sent all my stuff gave him the tracking number,he gave me a number. He got my stuff I never got his.He agreed to send mine back, sent back about half of what I sent him.Never could get a hold of him again.
Then there was a time I shipped the same time and it went smooth as glass

Thats fine and all but you can't even trust people with good feedback I've been screwed out of one of my savages and then i got screwd out of my LST2 and RCuniverse wont do anything to help but say owell so i am extremly cautious on any deals and thus wont ship first unless i know exactly whom I'm dealing with and can contact them by phone. but that is just my 2 cents worth lol

I believe that you need to be cautious with whoever your dealing with, unless its someone you have delt with before and had a great experience with.I know a few people on here I wouldn't hesitate in a second to send them a 1000 for something.I know they are good honest folks and I trust them.
However when it comes to trading with new guys I will usually require them to ship first cuz If they have a problem shipping first that usually means they are trying to screw you over.I know that is not always the case but usually it is.
It also all comes down to attitude, when your a pm'ing with someone and they are trying to trade you something that u know is way more expensive than what you are trading.Chances are they are a scammer.
IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBLY IS!!!!!!
thats just my .02,take it or leave it,thats how I feel....../:jumpy:

in both instances that i got screwed on RCU i was a new person and got taken advantage of i agree that i should ship first bieng new and stuff and i had no problem with that, i sent stuff out insured and request reciept to cover my but and they never sent me my stuff in return or even my stuff if they didnt want it so i am very weary of sending first i lost over 1000 worth of stuff in 2 deals and i thought that the 1st one was a fluke so i tried again and now will not do it again. by the way save all emails and phone conversations if you can and always send insured and request a signature the you can call there local police department and get them involvede and the internet fraud devision also its a slow process but it seems to be working. thanks.
