I have been racing RC cars off and on since I was 13 years old. I started racing a RC10LSS in 1993 at our local Banked oval at that time, and a few months later bought a Traxxas SRT to race at the local dirt track at the time. I raced steady for the next 3 - 4 years upgrading the cars I had, and buying some others here and there. I sold the SRT, but held on to the 10LSS, which by the way I still have, but in 2002 I purchased a T-Maxx, and then shortly a HPI RS4, then Micro RS4, and so on. I now have a stable of RC cars at the number of around 30 spanning from On-road to Offroad, and from Helicopters and planes to boats. I enjoy working on them and upgrading them as much as I do actually driving and racing them. I have a few custom projects that I work on from time to time, but I tend to get busy and have to put them down for a while. I will be glad to help anyone with anything I can.

Tried off-road, and it just did not interest me at all.

I run two Kyosho RRR, and one Mugen MTX4R <10th scale>
For 1/8 scale I run one Evolva, one PRP XR8, and just purchased the new Mugen MRX4X <just opened the box yesterday>
Was in to the street rod scene for many years, and owned 117 cars<over time, not all at once> and traveled the US going to car shows and seeing the country. 2 saturdays ago I was bored so I went to my lhs & walked out with a new e-maxx, 4 battery packs & a dual charger.
I ran it a few times then I broke my broke the rear bumper. Equipped with my new RPM bumbers I was bashin yesterday and broke 1 of the front a-arms & the front bulkhead. I ordererd RPM a-arms all around and Integy (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=3045) SuperDutyII front & rear bulkheads.
I have replaced all of the stock screws on my E-MAXX with stainless steel screws to prevent rust. I also have 2 Kershaw Designs Revolver 650 x-long motors I will be installing next weekend. I will let you guys know how they perform.
My bumpers, a-arms & bulkeads are all blue so following the theme this morning I ordered some blue dual rate shock springs & Venom Atomik F350 body - gray with blue flames. When every thing is installed & rtr I will post some pictures.

Hey folks I am 36 years old. I am sure many of you have seen me on RCU forums and in the fs/ft area. I have been in the hobby since the original Grasshopper and RC10 was made. I have tons of RC's in my garage. I like Nitro and Electric. Soon I will be jumping into the 5th scale for the first time with a new Baja 5B SS as soon as spring comes. I am here because this site works like RCU use to. I like the fact that you can put non-rc stuff up and trade for RC stuff. I miss that on RCU. I think it's a great idea.

I'm married to a wonderful wife that let's me enjoy life with my TOY'S.

I just placed my order in for a WCM 1/4 scale sprint car. Haven't decided on what hp engine I want but, I'm sure it will be overkill. Can't wait to get racin it.

We also race 360 winged sprint cars in the midwest.

I built a replica to a 1966 Ford 427 Shelby Cobra. I was able to do all the work but the machining of the engine. I'm a auto body man by trade and a pretty good mechanic. (thanks dad) I custom mixed the paint and added pearl to the white stripes. Best 1/4 mile- 10.38 sec. at 134 mph. Top speed- Kansas Motor Speedway- 164mph. Here's a link for more info & pics.

Good luck in the ****, what branch are you in? I just retired from the DoD. I miss it but I enjoy not shopping at AAFES, im still excited everytime I go to the store and stuff I want is in Stock, not having the commissary closed on Mondays, 5pm I still expect to hear retreat...

We have three dogs. We're both disabiled. I love racing. I did race cj 5 jeeps. Have to go to rc. Less chance of hurting body part on me. I was in to off road buggy racing. The track closed down, cause lack of interest. Like a dumpy I sold all I had. Now I found a track closer, but no equipment. Have to start out all over again. Interested in 1/10 electric trucks. If anyone has some advice, please give it. Want to get back to racing. I am happy to be here.
