need info on kyosho truck

i recently purchased a kyosho 06 rough road datsun step side, there is this little black lever on the top of the tranny , WHAT THE HECK IS THAT FOR?? i cant figure out how to start it!! lol please help. also if anyone has an exploded view of the orig rc 10 buggy tranny please let me know. thanks . :D
