When traxxas first released the 4-tec, it's frame was 14.5" long, rather small even for a 1/10 TC. They later revised this to 17" and updated the motor to 2.5 and then 3.3. This is one of the original smaller scale 4-tec's with it's original pro-15 motor in it. This motor was freshly rebuilt by me, as was the entire rest of the car. I tore it down to individual parts, and cleaned, restored, upgrading, and replaced every part in it I could.
This is a great example of the original form of this car. Comes with both the stock pro .15 muffler and the new Resonator muffler. It is set up and ready to run, complete with all electronics, servo's, and AM transmitter and receiver, including a set of crystals to run it. Other than needing a tune when it gets to you, this baby is ready to go and in mint condition.
Pics up soon and if there is interest.

Here are some updates and photos:
Mod List (all parts are official traxxas parts):
Aluminum 15t Belt Gears
Front and Rear Sway Bars
Brand new front bumper (plastic part only, the foam is just fine)
Brand New HOT Glow Plug
Brand New Tires and Wheels (Rubber Slick on-road and lightweight plastic wheels). They have only been run enough to tune it.
Traxxas Resonator Muffler from TRX 3.3 motor
Brand New EZ-Start Harness (Custom Sleeved)
Brand New Tri-Nitride coated Shock Shafts (Rear).
Brand New hardened chrome shock shafts (Front).
Brand New Header Gasket
Brand New Air Filter
Also included:
Original Body (this still fits well enough to be run, but you will want a new one, this one is well loved)
Original Muffler
Hangar 9 Metered Locking Glow Plug Igniter w/ NiCad and Charger
Nitro Filling Bottle
Traxxas AM 2-Channel Transmitter and Receiver
Traxxas EZ-Start electronics with 3000mah NiMh Battery (Uses molex connection to plug into the EZ Start)
Male Molex to Female Traxxas Adapter (This is used to charge the EZ-Start battery on a charger with traxxas connections)
I do not have the original manual or foam, but this will be shipped in it's original box, well padded. I do not skimp on packaging. I will also be including a print-out of the full assembly guide for the original pro version of this vehicle, if you ever do need to work on it or replace parts this will be invaluable. This manual also includes the basic tuning for this motor to help you get started.
Needed To Complete:
Traxxas Tuned Exhaust Header (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCPR9&P=SM) - If you plan on keeping the tuned muffler
Traxxas Rubber Down-Pipe (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJG41&P=SM) - If you plan on putting the original muffler back on
I rigged up the current setup you see in the pictures for testing purposes only to get it ready to sell. It will NOT come on the vehicle and is not suitable for long-term use. If you plan on using this vehicle, please purchase on of the above options.
