Well in 6 hours of tinkering I gained 30mm.

Hope its all worth it because I loved my LST2.

I started a 3pm looking at these two rigs.

15 minutes later the front end is out of my beloved LST2

30 minutes later both front and rear are removed.

15 minuts later the electronics and battery box removed.

Quite a while later all torn down and mostly cleaned diffs checked, cleaned, and filled with 50k, and diff cases filled with new grease.

Skipped pics of XXL tear down.
Trans installed, and steering servos also.

Rear end assembled, also did the rear arm flip, gains no extra legnth from this but I want to try this shock configuration.
Everything still moves freely so I'll see how I like it.

And tonight

Well tonight I figured I would get the electronics in it and get it ready for its first run.

Well this coming weekend I have off from work and figured I need a body on it if I'm going to give it a test run, so I just put the old body on it with a few new rear holes.
You can see how much longer it is with the body on it, the molded wing on the body used to tuck under the wing.

I think its funny how big it is compared to my radio lol

If your seeing this coming at your face, the next thing you'll be seeing is the hospital ceiling ROFL

nice, what 4.5 turgy are you pushing it with? 4s is my guess(?) and the mator a 2200? it looks great, not it also looks like you need another electric setup for the other lst2-lol.

i just gave away my two lrp z.28r motors still like new with one @ 1qt and the other @1/4 of nitro , so now i need to buy the fastlane machining 's brushless conversion. i already have the "xl" ep plates. man this would be a great video of the xxxl ep and the savage xl ep side by side.

miss seeing you around rcj... granted i am not here as much ...

Ya the turgy is a 4s, I also run 5s which is just crazy fast, could not imagine 6s.

The LST2 I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with it.

Just so you know, the LST-XXL is bigger than a Savage XL lol

I still come here now and again to see whats going on and to put in my 2 cents worth :D

Man I wish the weather would clear up, what ever isnt snow and ice is a puddle durring the day.

I'm getting sick of dusting it, this has been the worst winter for rc in many years IMO.

The only time it isnt freezing its snowing. :censored:
