basically, while i hold her up she spins fine, slight balloning of tires. but once i set her on my carpet she goes really slow and whines at full throttle. barely any torque and not sure why? i have used the Castle Link, and i have opened up and inspected both diff's and they appear to be fine. Plastic, but fine. I have the MM BL system in it (not sure on the Kv of motor). gear mesh also looks good, i did notice that one tire feels loser on the spin than the other three (rear left) when i rotate by hand. I am thinking maybe the diff balls need to be replaced? to me it almost seems that the slipper clutch is not grabbing. but i dont see a SC on the RC18 and it is my understanding that the ESC does the job for it. anyhow thanks in adv. if anyone has ideas?

i have a parts car with a good rear trans if you want it, it needs a new front shaft, servo, motor mount, wheels, front wheel drive and a center drive shaft to get her up and running and ofc electronics, ill ship it to your door for 15 plenty of good parts on it, and it has the trans you need that works =D
This has happened to me also (I run ball diffs), and I had to tighten it down pretty hard. Just becareful, because if you do it too tight, you can snap the bolt.

tighten your diffs. I have had a few of these trucks. we did race them but now my son just bashes it. lol the diffs are normally tuff so tighten them down then back them off about 1/2 turn.
