again what car....

a new losi comes with a spektrum radio... in fact many other brands come with their own...(maybe cheaper/junk 2.4 radios)...

maybe you bought a associated factory car where there is nothing but electronics to buy...

maybe you bought a traxxas slash 4x4 platium truck ...and you need electronics ...and have all the hop up upgrades...

maybe you bought a used traxxas 2wd slash, where i would suggest buying new bearings, rpm -shock towers,arms, front and rear hubs, front uprights, a new clear body and paint your self, a vxl system for it, a 2 and one 3s so you can have fun with it, a full set of proline mounted calibers tires, traxxas steel diff outputs, with that said you would be very happy without buying any alum parts, hope you have a 2wd slash or i just wasted my time....lol... let us know what car you have...

because if you havea a walmart car or a radio shack car..or even a redcat ...toss it in the trash can and buy a hobby grade car.

this is the stampede fourm, so im assuming its a stampede.
which one though? xl1,xl5,vxl? maybe the first one with the MSC. the model you have will determine the upgrades you need, if any at all
