mamba max pro and 9000kv in pede?

i bought the 9000kv set up and put it in my vxl pede, all i have right now are 2 venom 4200 6cell nimhs, i ran it once on the nimh and it had no power, i went to check the battery and burnt my fingers, i pulled the battery out and on the bottom the plastic wrap on the battery was melted, so im sure at least 2 cells are no good it, but i borrowed a buddies promatch 5200 52c 2s lipo pack, and im sure i could get it to go 70+ no problem, i raced it at a local track and had to dial it down to 70%, im getting a rustler to put the system in because the pede is uncontrollable, im puttin the vxl system back in it, the 9000kv is an amazing motor!!!!!
