Question about CVD's

So I am new to R/C(trying to find something fun for me and my son to do when not hunting season). Bought a T-maxx 1.5 and now an S-maxx with a 2.5r motor it is so fast and fun but anyways it has a spooled rear end which is ok with me, it handles well when in the dirt and does some awesome stuff on pavement(Standing wheelie doughnuts). Yesterday snapped a driveline to the rear wheel, if i replaced those with metal cvd's will it snap my main drive line and if so should i replace it with steel too. If I replace them with steel will it break something else? I have a replacement diff i could put in and probably will if alot more stuff breaks.If anyone has some cheap cvd's for the smaxx which i believe is the same as the 2.5 and 3.3(not the wide) please let me know.

i would wait to replace them . the force of a crash out be at your diffs, then to the center shafts, then the tranny. just way to up grade untill failure.
