This has been is my pride and joy. I have hugely enjoyed running and building this truck. It is not a common RC and that made it all that much better. It is a very tough little truck. I know the name CEN make some shiver but i am not afraid to mention how happy i was with this just like i was with the nitro version.
I ran this with a VXL and then the Sidewinder. Both are very fast systems in this truck. The VXL was more controllable, the SW was Very Wheelie happy. I have vids of both if interested...
This is sold as a roller with only a steering servo. The steering servo in it is not included but will have stock Skyion and a Traxxas 2055. Both function great.
The drive line on this truck is all steel from the spiders to the dog bones and i feel it can handle any BL system you throw at it with proper slipper adjustment.
My mods are Traxxas shocks, Turnbuckles for upper arms, better bearings, and a CT5 roll bar. I have a number of spare parts to include with it. I bought in apprehension of needing them and have not..
It will need tires. My kids let my dog eat one of them... The rim is fine and the tire can be boiled off. I ran HPI wide offset rims with Geolandars and can give part numbers of them if you are interested..
The chassis does fit thin lipos or Hyperion with a nimh case. I have one lipo i might be willing to sell with this for an extra price that fits well. It is a 4000mah 2s 20c.
The lid is solid but has a couple cracks by the bumpers.
If you are sick of the AE RC18 and Mini-Ts, i truely suggest this platform.
I have this priced at $75 but again i honestly am up for offers on both.
