I just bought an old 1/8th scale Kyosho MP5 offroad buggy, and its Hyper .21 engine currently doesn't have a pull start and I don't have a starter box. Do you guys think one starting method is better than the other? What are the pros & cons? Can I put a pull start on it and still start it with a starter box? Thanks for your help!

I suggest using the bumpstart. And just put the backplate on where the pull start screws on. That decreases the amount of wasted compression in ur motor. The pullstart is handy if u cant learn how 2 adjust ur s*it 2 stayrunning. but the backplate and bumpstart increases hp.
