View Full Version : Would also like to know what my revo is worth

I'm thinking about selling it as a roller.

It has a broken motor mount and I am going to keep the engine to throw into another roller of some sort.

I just tore it down to the bare chassis and cleaned everything. Both rear shocks lost 100% of their fluid all over the thing so I did a rebuild on all 4 shocks and did a super cleaning. Also has a brand new 150cc fuel tank.

Any thoughts on what to ask for it?

Nope. Just look at how much full rtr revos are going for these days. You can pick one up all day for $150 - $250. Top top that off those usually come with hopups and all kinds of extras. So a roller with broken parts. I would not expect much.

Only thing broken is the engine mount which i just ordered a replacement. I may just keep it. I wasn't expecting a million dollars but $75 wouldn't make it worth it.

These days you are gonna get raped selling things. I mean think about it, I just picked up a NIB HPI 6b 2.0 for $750. Most stores even online stores sell them for $1029 + shipping. $300+ bucks off. There is really no market anywhere for sellers. Right now over all its a buyers market. Hell I cant sell my Volvo that wholesale value is $8k. The highest bid I am getting for it is $700 bucks.

good point. I'll have more fun dropping the money I'd spend on a new project into the revo anyways I think.
