T-maxx 3.3 motor problems

I just got this tmaxx 3.3 on a trade,it fires right up and has a lot of compression,but when i run it i can`t open the throttle up all the way becuse it acts like its 2 lean and i have reset the carb 2 factory settings 5 times.i ve replaced the fuel line,tightened all carb screws even changed the glow plug.i can richen both needles and it will run 4 a little while then goes lean.need help please:pullhair:

as the 3.3 is a funny motor ensure the head bolts are in corectly and tight for air leaks check the plastic val on carb for cracks also check the exhast manifold for leaks and the boot from the motor to the exhaust this will cause the motor to act funny or stupid as i put it check the temp when it is running hope this helps need anything please ask
