Ok, I've been doing some work on my Maxx. I'm really confused... I picked up a set of used arms that were off of a wide Maxx. They are the same length as my arms.... The width of my truck with tires is ~ 15 1/2". So, what is the lenght of known wide arms vs. the narrow arms. Or is there something else I'm not seeing? Traxxas site specs for a 4910 says 16 1/2". Also what are the differences with a regular 2.5 vs. 2.5R?

So it's both the arms and chassis? I almost bought some clearance RPM arms @ the LHS a few weeks ago, and the guy asked if I had a wide or narrow, they were for the narrow....

It is the arms the chassis are the same size.Because all bulkheads .15 2.5 and diffs are the same and mount the same.

there is no difference between chassis. it is the arms and it went from the narrow to wide between the .15 and the 2.5.
the narrow arms are

wide arms are
Length: 5" (127mm)
the biggest way to tell if you have the new verses the old is the single holes would be larger. that is the location they extended the arms at narrow arms have smaller holes , wider maxx has larger.

Ok, we have a verdict... Was at the LHS getting some screws to put the Maxx back together. It uses Revo bearing carriers/bearings, shafts and longer turnbuckles to get the extra width(with the wide arms of course). Thanks for all thoughts/replies!
