T maxx rebuild

CAN SOME TELL ME IF THE 2.5 AND 3.3 TMAXX ARE THE SAME?HAVE A .15 TMAXX THAT WIDEN WHEEL BASE ON AND THE TURN BUCKLES I GOT FOR IT ARE FOR A 3.3 AND THEY DON'T FIT WILL I ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE THE KNUCKLES AND THE AXELS OUT TO ? THE HOBBIE SHOP SAID I WOULD.NOW FOR ONE MORE QUESTION WILL A TRAXXAS 2.5 OR 3.3 CARB FIT A OS 18MT ENGINE THE GUY THAT HAD IT APOX AROUND EVERYTHING.:pullhair:

os tm that motor is discountinued a 2.5 3.3 slight diff diff and drive axles 3.3 knocs wont fir .15 os is usually os specific the carb might fit working might be a another issue for tunning hope this helps

looks like so far need to connect the throttle spring need little help with this.

no can't figer out were that spring goes looked at a couple of 2.5s don't see a spring.

I do not recall a return being there - on the old .15- only thing spring wise was for holding the manifold on-...both my 3.3 dont have it-I thought it did but -I think it was the Losi I worked on.Why is it not returning to idle?

runs fine just don't no what the spring is for guesing it is a return spring it came with the 2.5 linkage i can't get on the traxxas web site to see and my friend said the same thing he never seen one on the tmaxx.

runs fine just don't no what the spring is for guesing it is a return spring it came with the 2.5 linkage i can't get on the traxxas web site to see and my friend said the same thing he never seen one on the tmaxx.i have not played with the .15 maxxes but if the spring has hooks on the ends its prolly for a nother truck ot manafold spring ... the throttle spring is on the servo linkage so when you apply the brake it dont try to over torque the throttle , i just use a pice of old fuel line
