Been quite a while since I hooked a car up.. I hooked everything up correctly, i know i did... Heres the problem.. The controller works, turns the wheels etc.. BUT when i plug the battery pack in, the engine goes by itself and wont stop. The car is on, the batteries are good, etc etc.. whats the deal???

Have you checked your transmitter settings such as throttle trim & the end point adjustment? Is your car electric or nitro you mentioned the engine but also you referred to plugging in the batteries.
Most likely your transmitter settings are the problem.

No problem, I am getting back into the hobby & find it kind of fun to do things that I did when I was younger I really enjoy building kits and such.
