traxxas t maxx and duratraxx nitro evader

hey im really new to this im not sure if i wana get rid of them but the t maxx engine i beleive is dead and the nitro evader should work fine just needs a few parts the engine has compression the t maxx feels like it burnt out an might need a new piston just ****s cuz im kinda broke but wanna fix which ever one is better should i sell the evader and fix the t maxx or vice versa the evader is small but i like the big truck the guy at the rc shop told me a new engine runs for 110 for the t maxx its a .15 dunno how old or what model it is the evader i have the manuel and everything just no glow plugs wrong crystal for the remote and car these are what i need to get the evader going if u can give me your honest opinion thanks http://www.rcjunkyard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12678 (http://www.rcjunkyard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12678)

I would get a new/used motor for the t maxx and sell the duratrax as a roller :) thats just my .02

I would sell the duratraxx get your money out of it and hop the t-maxx up its more worth. Theses trucks can take a beating and do your parts shopping on ebay or here on this form keeps cost down and i would go with the traxxas 2.5 or a .21:)
