well i wanted to up date you guys on the slash . it is a pretty cool truck with the right set up it may handle better with the vxl.

so far i managed to pull the shock cap off the front shock body, blew up a rear tire, and one rear drive yoke going from the tranny to the drive shaft.

so the hop ups are: front big bore shocks-nice!, steel yokes, proline "hardcore" body (painted to match the jato & revo) and for the tires...well.... check the pic

dyed the chassis,bulkhead,tranny ,too

i was going to the the boner body in the trash just yesturday, since i got it from a guy here on rcjunk and never had a use of it untill i needed to run some old tires that will not fit under the slash body. which that is the biggest down fall of the truck in my opinion.

soafter i tried to stay running with the paddles and the recycled body i swaped the tires for the street hawgs. i mabe couple of speed laps before hitting a curb on a fast lap. so now i have a broken up right and the slash is hanging on the wall again.

so i guess i lived up to your expectations-
"If it aint broken your not trying hard enough"
