I read a comment on here that the Rush was a piece of junk, and I agree to a point, but I was going to post a couple mods that help a lot.
Most of the issues are with the front end. Fixed axles, weak servo setup, short screws... I took the swing-arms and the bearing set out of a nitro mt and stuck them on along with a metal geared high-torque servo. The car runs 100% better and I haven't flung a wheel or broken a part in about two hours run time.
I will admit that this car is a little on the slow side, but I put slightly larger wheels on the back, one size down on the spur gear, and a better clutch in and the rush does pretty well.
The only thing I haven't solved is the engine mount. I have to set the engine at a weird angle for the clutch bell to fully engage the spur gear, which means that I had to shave a little off the center brace.
Hpi definitely has better trucks over all than other companies. Even this truck that some call a dud keeps going and going.
Anyway... other comments?
