I ditched the idea of using outrunner DD on my warhead due to complication's with the mount setup and the lack of proper component's so here is my new idea... I plan to use an E-savage tranny that I bought from my friend and mount it on the custom .30in plexiglass mount/skidplate I made for the warhead . I never hear any issue's with e-savy tranny's and I plan to put mine to its limit's and beyond by running dual brushless motors on it on seperate 3s lipo battery's with dual MM ESC's. I am looking into dual 37/48 1000kv outrunners or something fairly on the cheaper side for proper power output that I'm expecting and a ton of overall power. I most likely have my mind set on the outrunners due to their torque and their overall power output. I know running dual motors on one tranny or r/c isnt smart because of different rotating speeds but Im gonna give it a shot. I plan to get this started ASAP. Pics will be taken also.

Good news... I finally got around to ordering the motor's and I took a gamble. I am one of the first to try this if not the first and Im hoping it turns out w/o issues. I ordered two 37/48 outrunners from HobbyCity. Their suppose to be direct mounting to the motor plate. When they get here Ill post pics.

More Good News... Im hopefully going to pick up my Warhead along with the Matrix (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=3011) TR and the E-Maxx (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=6153) today. We had a major flood 2 weeks ago and had to get alot of stuff out of the house so we put it in storage. Well now that the flood threat has gone down a little Im probably going to pick up all my R/C stuff from storage today. When I do, Ill let you guys know.

Here are some pics of the modded tranny... Im now using a Savage mod1 spur and 24t mod1 pinions. The mounts are .30in plexiglass. It will mount directly unto the bottom chassis plate on the Warhead.

Lookin prettysweet. With dual outrunners, I'm sure you'll haveplanty of torque, which also means you can gear up!

Yep I plan to gear it with mod1 setup instead of 32p. I will be gearing it at 25/49 to start.
