T Maxx 3.3

I just bought a T-maxx 3.3 on e-bay and it comes with a ni-mh battery pak onboard the truck. Can I use AA batteries instead of the pak, and is there an advantage or disadvantage of either of the two? (Battery Pak vs AA Batteries)

definitely use the bat pack!!

but if you decide to use aa's be sure that they are good rechargables
