Lower turn motor, 7 cell battery, increase the pinion size by a few teeth, lower the spur gear by a few teeth and if it has a MSC(mechanical speed control) its time to step out of the stone age and upgrade to a newer ESC that can handle a low turn motor.
A combo of any of these will increase the speed of the truck. Some pics and info on the truck will help a bunch, then we know what we are working with.

A new motor and new high capacity batteries will do the job.:D

i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk312/ac6944/rc.jpg that's a link to the image. the car is a nikko car. i think it is a toy type but the motor can be easily removed and reinstalled to the car. there are almost no hobby shops in the philippines to buy a motor. instead of hobby shops, can there be shops here where i can buy a motor? my last option is to purchase from the net.

I beg to differ. I have spent alot of time in PI, my wife is from Manila. There are more hobby shops then I had time to visit in my 4 trips there.
Here is a link to Philippine Hobby Shops, they all have online stores as well, if you are not able to visit them in person.

Baguio, we are debating on moving there in a few years or other parts of PI. I have onl been to Baguio once and I loved it. Cooler climate, the beautiful terraces and the wilderness right close by. It made me forget about the business of the cities.

i am getting an interest in nitro vehicles because they are faster and stronger. even an offroad nitro car in low to medium throttle might already finish my little obstacle course in record time. but if i am right, higher performace means higher means for maintenance and carefulness in use.
