Is the foam even inside the tire and is the tire glued to the rim good? That would be the first things I check.

i had this problem with one of my trucks.. ur tires/rims probably are two different sizes. so wen u glued them on, instead of having an even bead all around, urs is uneven so the tires is lopp-sided.

it is a rtr kit and it was pre-glued i was thinking that it might be because my tires got wet for a while and there might be water inside but idk. am also having trouble tuning it gets to half throttle in 2.5 second roughly and cuts out whenit seems like it hits the high speed needle and then continues into upper range takes aprox. 6 seconds to hit second.

take the water out of ur tires.then if u want to stop the cut-out,richen the hegh speed needle 1/4 turn at a time until it works good. and for the tranny, find how to adjust and mees with it until it works,r/c cars are all about trial and error.

unless you are running a hemi! i am going agaist the crowd on this one ... how old is this truck? if not the orginal tires ...maybe they are right...bad job of glueing? ???? in that case? but if not after market tires that did not come glued then... how many gallons do you have on this truck? if over 1 check the cheap "traxxas" bearings i bet you have blown the bearings ...if you are not using the rpm or rd hubs which replace the small stock bearings ...which reduce wear from heat and thewhole friction i would lay my money on that ! get new bearings from avid bearings http://www.avidrc.com/shop/?action=category&id=1&subid=1
they are a great cheap source for them ! alot cheaper than traxxas **** !

If you have been running it in alot of water I would think that is it. It is very hard to get all the water out without taking the tires off the rims. You can try drilling a hole in the rim to get the water out but if that doesn't work then you will have to remove them from the rims.

i used some acetone on it and took the tires out and could pour the water out of the tire and filled up a medium sized towel with the water i squeezed out of the foams
